GGP’s Hamm Begins Series of Meetings With The Columbia Community

Last week, Greg Hamm met with residents and other advocates for transportation at the Bain Center in Harper’s Choice. The meeting, which is the first of many General Growth Partners has planned for the community this year, is another promising sign that despite recent changes in leadership on the project, GGP remains committed to engaging the community in the redevelopment process from the ground up.

“If done properly and collaboratively, we can make progress,” Hamm was quoted as saying in reference to the meetings. GGP will release a full schedule of these meetings soon; be sure to check back for a listing of where and when.

This continued outreach by GGP is significant because it will help ensure the successful transition of Town Center and get us one step closer to the vibrant, cultural center that Columbia needs and deserves to be.
